Welcome. Your car looks great with the Carrera lightweights on it.

Default thanks

Thanks for the welcome and kind words...love the car. It only has 73K miles on it and previous owners took exceptional care of it (with records to prove it). I've already done the chain pads, just b/c I couldn't find it anywhere in the service history and clutch has already been done twice and TB/WP recently completely. Next project is tunes as it's rockin' the 1990 Alpine tape deck and dead Blau EQ!

I got tired of my floor mats sliding forward so I made up some straps to click into the connectors on the underside of the mats. I only took pics of the drivers side straps.

I also zip tied the wires for the boost gauge and the wide band O2 sensor gauge up under the dash. The ends kept falling down around the clutch pedal. They are running up into the A pillar. Why do I have wires for a boost gauge and an O2 sensor you ask??? Just planning for the next phase of upgrades. The wires are run, I just need to install the gauge pod on the pillar and then do the engine upgrades.

Replaced the air cleaner assembly with a K&N cone filter. The car has a whole different sound under WOT.

Any change to power?

I have a k&n cone as well but never drove with a stock so don't know if there is a difference.

Looks good, how many miles on them?
#5 has 124,700 and #7 has 101,000. I have one in the shop having the waterpump timing belt and motor mounts replaced. Winter weather here, so they won't get used much for a while. Hope to post a few questions I have in the near future. Happy New Year!

My mats have the other side/part of the plastic clips already attached. It looks like they came that way from the manufacturer.
