Congratulations on the sale, Brian! It's a simultaneous happy/sad/excited/regretful emotional rollercoaster to see them go..

Thanks and AMEN to that. I hope your car does really well. I think it will. Good call going from all leather to Pasha. It looks stunning!

It looks stunning!
It's because of the great work you do, those seats are the centerpiece of the whole car. Glad you made them perfect.

i also want the minerva/pasha car badly, but believe it will go beyond what i'm willing to spend. i regret selling my '78 a lot lately, but i'm still on the fence about going back to one.
watching the auction closely...

Thanks, Rob. That is kind of you to say. I don't know if I would say perfect but they did turn out nice. If I caved to my inner OCD on my wanting to make things perfect, I would never get a set of seats out of the shop!

Everyone on this thread should watch this auction closely, and don't stop when you get to the comments section. Aside from nothing but incredibly flattering comments coming from probably the most scrutinizing group in the 928 community (and then some), it's an education in how a very select few of these iconic cars receive the meticulous attention that they truly deserve. Really something to behold.

With mere hours to go, just wanted to say good luck, Rob. Hope you knock it out of the park. Related, I’m predicting exponential value increase in my matching autoart model GLWtA!

I'm not sure my pockets are deep enough for the finish I expect here, but I can at least say that I had the high bid for a few hours... 😁

Beautiful car, amazingly well presented too. Well done @Rob Edwards

Following this to the last minute. I'm sure you don't have to worry Rob, this will shoot away in closing time. Just a beautiful example of an amazing restoration...

Under 3 hours! Great color combo

and I thought i was a FREAK.....Rob is insane.....took me forever to just go through his spreadsheet.....I won't even guess what all the receipts add up too..... 105 min left...but at current bid its safe to say Rob isn't getting rich off doing this!

NOTE TO SELF.....do not BID.....do not BID...you have no garage space.....Dr Doty will kill you.....

Thank you! Now I can calculate the value of my hourly labor rate- I think I'm violating a minimum wage law or two... But it's all good, great to have a hobby that cash flows.
