928s for Sale
#8718
I tried to bid on the BaT 928. Had trouble refreshing my web browser and did not get my last bid in. Tried to get the seller to contact me and BaT blocked my comments. My response....no longer looking at BaT. Would rather buy a known quantity without the hoopla from my fellow 928 cognocenti on Rennlist.

I am trying to decipher the color codes for carpet and to see if it is shown on the door jamb sticker. I noticed your exterior color code is 33X, which is Saphire Blue Metalic. Is it common knowledge that is one and the same as Prussian Blue Metallic? Is Prussian the German word for Saphire and just understood in the Porsche community? Just curious is all as I am a new 928 owner. I am really interested in the formal color of the carpet. You list it as "Tan", but I've seen similar color listed as "beige" and even "champagne" My carpet is brown and I want to lighten it up, so just trying to get the formal color in case I order it.

P9 Motorsports Rear Mounted Turbo S4. If I wasn’t selling my house this would be in my garage tomorrow. Needs some work but if as mechanically sound as the seller states, this is easily the most HP/$ 928 on the market and it ain’t even close.

Wow, that's crazy. I think Chuck sold it to this guy who then turned around and put it up for sale for $30K (down to 25K recently).
Didn't know it burned. Dang.
sad for sure.

Doesn't matter who ended up with this car. Seeing this is heartbreaking. Backs up the argument to have a good Halon bottle in every car you care about.

Yes Rob and Nate, this is the sweetest and most special 928 that has graced the floor of my garage. And dang, it is so nice to drive ... what an absolutely spectacular sensation as the motor winds up to redline. The motor seems to breathe so much more freely than ordinary S4s. And yet, it is so incredibly luxurious and civilized on the highway at cruising speeds. I will probably regret not buying it for myself, but honestly, Id drive the **** out of it.
I guess the RL VRS caught my colorful choice of words ... Id still drive the snot out of it.
