Went for $75,040 including the 12% premium.
very, very, very strong money for that car. There were also questions about the mileage when it was on BaT.

Agree. That is way more than I thought it would go for. The pasha was not in great condition, especially in the back. I love that color, but thought most wouldn't. Well I guess at least two bidders did.

If I recall correctly, wasn't it listed for approx. $40k for a few months prior to the BaT sale, with no takers? I thought value was already exceeded at the BaT sale price of $50,000, considering the questions/issues noted in the auction comments and on this board. But people can't seem to resist the siren song of Pasha...

Just got back from Barrett-Jackson. Friend was at Bonhams the day before and said this OB wasn't all that nice up close. Very wavy FBC, seats were coming apart, etc. Good to see fair condition OB's commanding $$$. T

All it takes is 2 big $$$ bidders competing with each other and it's on. Plus if you add alcohol I've seen 10k cars goto 30k. Kinda hard to judge a market on a one car sale.
if that's the case 50% plus owners are racing to sell.
IMHO

Every car market that went auction-ballistic in the last 10 years was not driven by true enthusiasts, but instead by relatively detached groupies chasing a new (to them) fad.

Game on.

first, congrats on the new baby (I think? Sort of sounds like you aren’t happy about it). Anyway, your car should sell fast. It is well priced for a driving , shifting car. Good luck

David - no I did not. I sent a text message asking for more pix and info. Came back with a left side pix and interior (looked pretty good) and said the car runs well and drives well. I think the rare color/Euro/white leather interior makes it a very attractive candidate. Unfortunately, Earl and I are both past the era in our lives for upgrade projects together, and I've got a couple of 'TLC' projects with excellent mechanical condition - English cars (is that an oxymoron?) going on right now.

Cheers,

Gary

Thank you and yes we are extremely excited. I know the future will hold more P cars as well.

Default Cassis Red Metallic

Needs a lot of work, but I love the color, yes, the interior as well.

I thought you might have extracted some of the back story for this one.
