I don't see how a 928 could have driven so long without a pile of breakdowns. I mean, I bought mine in 2010 and it was all up-to-date. Over the ensuing years I had to get a smog pump, a steering rack, a starter motor, radiator fans, and on and on. These cars are not like the energizer bunny after all these years, stuff breaks about every 6 months no matter whether you drive it or not.

And +1 on worf's comment that so-called "buyers" (I call them low-ballers) will try to get you to sell a perfectly maintained car that has had $10,000 spent in the past year for the same price as some junker on Ebay. Ask me how I know..

Normally I would be in agreement, but for some reasons the stripe, badge on the fender, and banner across the windshield all kinda ties together nice.....no I would never do that to my car.

Hate the wheels tough

I am putting the same broad stripes on my white '78, but mine are going to run side-side instead of front to back

I personally thought Shawn's car looked cool at frenzy.

This guy from this post https://rennlist.com/forums/928-foru...l#post13835721 is still looking to trade his Euro OB for a plane. Looks like he took Stan's advice and updated the ad.

Yours for only $124,500 OBO. And don't mind the miles...it's a feature, not a detraction.

High mileage 928S 5 speed local to me. I'd be checking it out because it looks like a nice car to play around in but I just got a 968. https://cleveland.craigslist.org/cto/6021106111.html

[QUOTE=Shark_gts;13998497]I did a walkaround video of the GTS yesterday. I have the cam set on "record live music" so I think the gain control is pretty sensitive. I predict someone will say the "lifters" are noisy (they are not).

sounds more like fuel injectors actually. Nice car!

The silver modded S4 on BaT is currently being outbid - dare I say *owned* - by a 914 4-cylinder TMU. Ouch! I feel pain!

I would not change your reserve at all, most of the bidding will be late.

Wow that was fun huh GT6ixer? The silver S4 on BaT sold for $18,000, with a surprising $175,000 bid thrown in for comic relief.
