Well what I mean is, how could the car end up all put back together and shiny with the lights out of position like that? Is the selling dealer that stupid?

SSC is a dealer. consignment place. they didnt do the work. they sell em as is.
this was probably caused by a body shop that didnt know or care what they were doing. Quick fix, replace the bumper cover.
Myself and Richard V, both spoke with the owners Son in Law today, lots of stuff not mentioned in the add, Buyers be ware.Still sure does look enticing doesn't it.Its been repainted,No documentation of mileage, but that can be verified. Andrew M. pointed out the dash cap, rear top seat bolsters recovered. Just a few of the tid bits spotted right off the bat.We need a Cali Brother to give this one a good look over. Original Owner ones are practically impossible to find, so if true its worth pursuing if its not a huge money pit ready to implode.
1979 Porsche 928S 5 speed 50k mil one owner - $13000 (north hollywood)
Very Nice...nice to see one from orig owner, would love to see if it has all the paperwork and accessory bits that came with it. Someone needs to jump or this one is GOOONE!
I think its already gone. Not answering phone anymore nor email/text. Door jam without paint code sticker, so evidence of repaint as confirmed by John. Sounds like odometer doesn't work. Looks like an Ansa exhaust and 928motorsports radiator.
Wonder who did the work on this car. Precision Motorwerks?
However, the way OB have been going lately, this one is well worth the asking! It's going to be a quick flip by soneone.

Well I gotta say, it is *possible* for a 1987 to be worth that much at this mileage, I don't think this car is. The paint looks tired, but it is really impossible to tell anything from the generous 8-photo gallery.
I agree. I never understand why people are so lazy as to not use all 24 pictures allotted by a Craigslist ad. Especially when they are asking premium dollar. I mean I guess I was partially lazy when I put my wife's 1994 Honda Accord up on CL for $1000. I only used 19 pictures.
