Thanks for the information. All the information I'm finding is verifying the GT model. Excited to get started rehabbing the interior and exterior to make those look a bit better! It's in great shape so me and my son are pretty excited about it!

Thanks for the information. The vehicle was definitely lowered (prior to my mother's husband purchasing it in 1994) making it almost impossible to drive.

First thing I will have a shop do is get it back to factory height (corner balanced and aligned in the process). And see what parts underneath I've beaten up with the drive from Tulsa to San Diego. There was one particular pavement elevation change just outside OKC that we took a solid hit on... . Fortunately, we still made the rest of the drive with the only issue being (probably) an overheated alternator (in concert with a weak battery) causing a few stalls at highway speeds between Tucumcari and Albuquerque. Might be more complex than that but I'll get it figured out. Or someone smarter than me...

Thanks again.

Thanks, yes, I was already a member my first Porsche was a 2004 911 C4S cabriolet. Black on black. I finally sold it in 2020 because of an engine error code that kept randomly coming up that several different shops including a "forensic" evaluation paid for by AAA. The damn code kept happening right before I would take it in to get it smogged here in California and I'd have to clear the code and then take the car through the almost impossible drive cycle and get it to the smog check before it returned. I did this for 4 years and finally gave up. I miss that car a lot. It was my daily driver and was driven in a very therapeutic manner...

This 928 drives nicely and sounds like a dragon. I'm still getting used to the dogleg shifter and the weight being in the front but the learning is fun.

Much appreciation in advance,

I'm at the beginning of my interior work. I definitely will need to get some replacement carpeting. Would you be willing to share where you are sourcing your replacements?

Thanks!
