Hi Rob,

Does additional VIN information become available over time?
The reason for asking is simple. My COA does not list options/components that are present on my 928. Many are absent. After talking to the Porsche people in the USA about this I became aware that the time period I was asking about was not documented totally. Emails to Germany referred me back to America to gain more information (indicating there was more).

Hi Karsten-

There's something wrong with that VIN- WP0ZZZ92ZGS862527 - the highest serial number among 1986 Euro models was GS841971. And the pictured M28.44 motor would of course be S3 but the next pic shows an S4 motor. Not sure what an options list would tell you given how heavily modified it now is.
