Hopefully, this one won't take a year like the other one did...

My idea from the previous watch thread (post 188):

The design is in, but we're looking at early spring, I think. This is being done in China and they take like a month off for New Year's.

Yes, I'll be your single payment point for this project. When the dials are ready to manufacture, I'll start a new thread with ordering and payment information.

Here's the post with the plan of attack: https://rennlist.com/forums/928-foru...l#post10986326

I just got the design back from Harold for final approval. It looks good to me, does anyone see anything that needs correction?

Looks good to me, but I don't know anything about watch faces.
Is the day/date window accurate.

Looks good!

Shawn, how about developing the option to have a second strap: rubber or silicone with deployant clasp, structured in tyre effect (such as pxrelli for chopxrd 1000 miglia series)?
Cheers,

A second strap is too easy: literally something that can be got for $25 from Amazon or eBay and installed yourself. Google 'tire tread watch band'. The Seiko 5 we're using as a base watch takes a 19mm strap.

Looks good not me if Black is White, White is Black, and Green glows in the dark.

Is the day date window sized correctly and in the proper location? When compared to these, it looks like it needs to be bigger or moved slightly to the right to me, but I presume Harrold knows what he is doing with that aspect.

This is an engineering drawing, the colors will be as we want them. And I have faith that Harold and his madcap engineers will get the date window correct!

The vague date window dimensions is why I didn't even try to put a white line around the window to balance the 928 at the 9 o'clock position.
