It still has Electromotive's TEC-3 software, but not TEC-GT. Definitely outdated. I bought the book back in 2005 when I was trying to do an individual throttle body setup on my 944 track car using Suzuki GSX-R ITBs. I still have all my diagrams, and calculations too. Maybe someday I'll find another 944 track car and actually do the project.

Looks Awsome!

Here's a shot to show how cavernous the "V" is on a 928 when not using the stock intake:

Could probably grab a blanket and take a nap in there.

Looks awesome -- when will you fire it up? Would love to see some data from that with and without the trumpets on.

If Greg is the type of person I think he is, no matter what the results he will shrug his shoulders, scratch his head and say: "I can do better" and head back to the shop.

Greg,

Do you have clearance for the fuel rail in the back near the air inlet..??

Looks very close from this angle. Or are you going to returnless rails?

I considered thhaving the spider legs on the inside of the heads like you show here, but had to move them to the outside as my intercoolers do not fit, and I also have to move the rails to the inside of the spider legs...

Cool spider

No, not much room.

A current Porsche Factory race engine has the fuel coming in and exiting from the sides of the rails and the ends are capped off.....

Looks awesome, but Jesus, it is a lot of hard work... And stroker engines need ITBs. If I can get a GTS displacement engine to make north of 400rwhp on a Mustang on 93 gas and pass smog, I can imagine what a 6.5 with a safe higher rpm limit can do...

P.S. Adam, it seems that only you and me have unlocked the "secret" of making really nice bhp with ITBs... In our case by accident, but hey, it counts... Those who know, know why...

Just a thought, assuming the 90mm throttle body is used on the new Ford Mustang 5.0s and 90mm GM ones are found on LS2 motors, this throttle body technically flow adequate for an unmodified 928 motor? If not, my theory is that too large of a TB may slow down the charge of air on a naturally aspirated 5.0. The throttle body may have to be smaller, say like an 85mm or even an 80mm.
