I've had the car for ten years.
Today I combed through the service records of the PO to find the after-market paint color. Landscaper ran into it and then ran away. Luckily I found him and took pics of his bumper and plate. That'll need resolved soon.
While doing that research, I saw that the records start with a 2001 car purchase for $950. The new owner put about $16k into it over the next 4 years.
I found the auto body receipt where he chose not to have the recommended prep and body work on it that left a car a leaky, peeling mess for me, but a dang shiny paint job. All that $, and he ends it with a shoddy paint job.
The PO flat-out lied about some things, comparing work orders to the craigslist ad.
But she's my car and I'll keep taking care of her until my clutch leg gets too old, then I'll trade her in for an 89 auto, or give her to one of my kids.
Took the red car to the annual safety, technical and emission test. The 1991 Strosek Ultra car privately imported from Germany, do not have a catalytic converter. The guys at the test station did not believe that, that model year car has to have a converter. After a long discussion, phone calls and reading on the computer they were finally convinced I was right. What a pity the old guy who know everything has stopped working there.

Washed it last night, then started it up at 5:10 AM this morning to head over to Katie's C&C. Arrived at 5:50 and got a great spot in the main area in front of Katie's. Perfect weather resulted in this being a big turn out. As usual there are so many Lambos they become ordinary. However, Katie's always has many, many outstanding rare cars... It's been about 2 years since I visited Katie's with my S4. Wow...what a difference 2 years and a lot of good press and rising values chatter has made. Without question my 928 was getting a disproportionate amount of attention and questions. More on this later...

I think the 928 will get more and more attention.
It's just the beginning...
Beautiful car Jon.
I'm still working on my coolant hoses change projet.
And few other small things while there...
Can't wait to put it back on the road.
Found a great shade of satin/matte hi temp black and painted the pumpkin, sheild and tips. Then got halfway done with the rear decal. Wondering if i should leave as is? Also vaselined the oem
gold/bronze toned anodized rims. They came back quite nicely.
