Reason: fuse
I attended the Chestertown Car Hop last night, not far from our one stoplight. My car had a V-8 like the other cars, but still, all the guys in muscle shirts avoided it, and me, meaning just about everyone. I couldn't have been more out of place if I had worn a tux. I eventually raised the hood and the headlights, which helped attract some attention.
Something I'd never appreciated: the hood of a Corvette is about the same height as a 928's, despite having a pushrod engine.
Many moons ago, Devek had a shirt that declared the 928 "The German Muscle Car". That was certainly correct per most definitions. 'Murikan manufacturer's made "muscle cars" by having some serious big engine options for their relatively lightweight mid-body sedans. Badge up a LeMans and put a 389 inch V8 in it and you've got a GTO muscle car. Big block in a Chevelle would do it. Most folks who ordered those optionsl stuck with lightweight bench seats and otherwise sparse interiors and accessories. The 928 has a few more creature comforts, but doesn't really qualify as a 'sedan', does it?
Replaced exterior windows seals with replacement kit from Roger. A much needed repair as old ones were cracking and beginning to fall out. Looks good as new and ready for another 25 years.
Also attempted to figure out electronic locking operation problem without success but that is for a whole different thread. Will probably dis-connect driver side actuator as I got locked inside this afternoon.

Whoa! It's possible to get locked inside? Do I need to see if I can squeeze out through the sunroof?
I went to Cars and Coffee. I may or may not have gotten there and back a lot faster than my GPS predicted...
