fixed and partly overhauled the cooling fan ECU....
and really overhauled the original amp with new IC's and new capacitors(about 50 ).....
It's not a modern sound , but I resumed the old sound ...Now I have 10 speakers working properly....

Adhesed a protective covering for the area on my Lloyd's carpet where the heel of my driving foot would 'stress'. I used a Craftsman 'Roll Away Top Mat', a rubber covering for the top of a Craftsman tool chest. It is thicker than a draw liner yet easy to work with. It is about 21" x 7" with a little trimming to be perfect. Used Loctite 300 Heavy spray adhesive. Looks good and am sure it will work fine. Yes I will get a pic later.

so. I started my '84 for the first time in 3+ months yesterday. Started on the first try. I don't even think the engine made 1 rev before it was running....haven't been able to drive anything since an accident the first week of March, so the 928 provided an excellent but entirely too short an outing....bad news is it looks like more PT is required before I can shove the gas pedal to the floor.....

Pulled off my CE panel and installed new brackets. Reinstalled the blower housing and flapper door. Reinstalled the CE, replaced the blower with one off a much newer car. Pulled all the plugs, replaced with new old stock Bosch wrd's, did not like how a couple of the new plug wires felt going back on...did not get a positive "click". Reinstalled the old wires. Futzed up the FD mixture, so, tweaked the idle air and FD until I got it running pretty darn smooth....that will change, as it always has, until I actually pull the FD and rebuild...
