Changed the oil and filter and all the lugnuts.
Finally removed the rest of the decals and blackout tape that was all over the car when I got it.
Finally REALLY drove it....WOW! I love it!!!

I replaced the rear hatch seal and installed a VW dome light while I had the rear visors and trim panel off.

I have bought a new 928 last week-end, a 1987 S4 manual with just one option, the alarm system.

It's a project car with a lot of work to do to match my expectations but I like this challenge.

Yesterday I put in newer upper A-arms and Koni shocks, and thanks to Mike V got the transmission resealed and torque tube/trans back in the car. Progress is being made.

Looking at the way you have this clip installed, consider that the groove in the barrel on the hose end is intended to receive the clip, rather than the way you have it installed now around the flare-nut on the steel line. It's going to wiggle around the way you have it, and the threads will be damaged (if you are really lucky) or the nut and line will fail (really not lucky). The replacement hoses came with new clips that don't work so well without some massaging, but they are way better than what you've shown. My two sense.

I am mid process with this exact change. Had a slight problem with the front stock dust covers but thanks to rennlist, problem solved.

Now I just need to get in there and pull the PS line and re-assemble.

How did you get to the control arm bolts? May be I just need better tools or a better mechanic

Constant laying down, getting up, going down, getting up. Get a LONG 22mm wrench and you can snap them loose from the top. Then get whatever 22mm socket and ratchet you can get to fit and plan on spending some time making very slow progress. Took me a few more hours than I had wanted to spend on it.

How about new clutch, new AC temp sensor, new rack boot, repaired clutch fan, repack right CV, new oil pan gasket, welded a small exhaust leak, new right rear rotor, repaired steering leak. What fun! Real soon, interior removed except dash and pod, new carpet and ColorPlus the seats and inserts, fix PO wiring goof on interior lights and replace wheel rheostat...

Installed new fuel pump and hard line and hoses.
After I put the 80 liters of fuel from the full tank to my Rangie DD using a 10 liter jerrycan...

Ground the casting marks off and polished the spider. Wait, that sounds weird!
