Finally installed the rear S4 seats I bought years ago. They were a nice upgrade to the blown out vinyl seats that were in there. Also stretched and re-glued the cover back over the rear console and seat sides.

Finally getting around to performing some work on the S4. H&R wheel spacers and started cleaning/detailing the inner wheel arches and chassis.

Also cleaning/detailing the exterior, interior and motor.

More to come!

Yes still rocking the original Blaupunkt! Plan to keep it that way. Design wise it fits the overall esthetic of the interior. I use a cassette adapter that works with my iPhone and works just fine!

Cranked her up and futzed around with the FD a little more. Put the wheels on her yesterday, and took her off the lift bars...backed her out oF the shop, cleaned up the glass, cleaned the shop, as then put her back in.

Not directly 928 related, but I thought I'd stress test the new lift today:

Rebuilt and replaced both rear shocks - simpler task than I was thinking it was going to be. Only issue...was the cracked rear CV joint boot I discovered in the process.

Replaced the Freeze Switch on the 87. Been blowing cold air ever since. Just in time for a Texas Summer!

Did the spoiler with turtle wax black chrome.
Not much left and they don't sell that anymore.
Up close the car looks like it has 20,000 miles the shape it's in.
Going to miss the car once its sold but after 19 years
its time to move on to something else if it sells.Tried to
let go of the car before and always held onto it.

Do you know the weight of the regular S4 mufflers, and your RMB?

I know the GT mufflers weight only 6.1 kg (13.44 lbs).
A rear muffler GT is heavy with 11kg (24.25 lbs)!

Started to replace the front spoiler - every fastening had to be cut off or sheared of to get the old one off... will use stainless fittings on re-assembly. Taking the oportunity to do somebody work R&R around the spoiier areas.

First good washing and waxing since coming out of winter hibernation, and the transmission job. Was going to, but can't drive it now because we now have tornado warnings up here. In Northern Maine ! WTF !
