Okay, then put it this way. Some of us with wives would rather not have internet-searchable evidentiary documentation outlining how much we've spent on 928 toys. Seriously though, as a general ballpark a base 6.5L stroker starts in the $25-30K range and goes from there depending on your appetite for power.
Are you certain your inquiry post was actually posted and deleted? I can't imagine anyone would ask a mod to remove such a post, it's just that such posts don't usually get answered with specifics.
Looks fantastic. You should be really proud. I love the fact you have used the very best parts and people. I'm sure it must sound great. Any chance tose the video. love the watch engines on dyno's. It's a part of this business we never see. Can you tell us about the dyno, tuning and are you using Sharktuner software? It must have been a great opportunity to watch your engine running.
Greg's engine dyno place has a video camera running anytime the control board is fired up, so there was several hours of video composed of peoples' backs working on the engine. I managed to figure out how to extract short clips using Sony's Vegas software. Will add some techno music to hide all that engine nosie, and some bitchin' title screens and cross-fades later, but for now here's some raw video of Andy's engine getting a workout, just a few hours after it had fired for the first time.

530hp? why does anderson and fan make 510 at the rear wheels with little tuning? (relatively speaking)

and I had no Idea how much custom machine work went into one of these engines. Suffice it to say that I was awe struck and Greg wondered why I had such a dumb grin on my face!!
nitty gritty:
dyno is a dts unit used by Heads UP performance By Roger Crawford just a block or two from Greg's shop.
this dyno run was with conservative fuel and ignition maps and the engine test was run up to 5500 rpm as we ran out of time gnerating new maps for this engine as it is using a different management system.(map not maf)
uncorrected at 5500 rpm torque was about 470 and hp was 530.....and redline for this engine is 7200.....
so lots of hope for this engine and I could tell by Gregs smile there will be alot more to come.
Just wanted to give a taste of future developements

No dyno sheets but I have a 2 hr dvd of the entire process I will try and post snippets later....
I was thinking about installing a Chevy LS376/480 motor in the 928 a while back and almost everyone gave me a hard time about it. Now someone is putting a 928 Stroker motor in the back of a Chevy pick up truck (above) and he gets no flack, what gives !? Ha-Ha. Motor looks awesome and the dyno #'s appear to back it up. Nice job. This is a really funny place. All you get is critics. Almost not worth the effort, at times.
No excuses...but:
It's the very first pass at 6,000, on an engine with cams to take it to 7,500, has barely enough timing to make it run (we were programming a new fuel injection system), is running on street fuel/****...not race fuel, and is uncorrected raw data straight from the dyno...on the "tightest" dyno in California. And Rob cut off the video, not wanting to show our entire hand, before it peaked....
That 530 flywheel, is over 600 flywheel, corrected for the dyno....BTW
I know, and certainly at this level of HP, small gains are very hard to find as well.
to your last point, then wouldnt andersons and Fans cars be 610hp flywheel corrected for the dyno, going back to flywheel??
Or, is there an other correction for this kind of flywheel dyno test?
Just interested and curious.
