Windshield costs and what brand
My windshield got cracked at the shop. they are going to replace it, but will use some japanese brand. any warnings regarding cheap replacement windshields? Bummer, because no one knows how it happened and its a star crack at the corner of the windshield.
do all the replacement windshields have the build in antenna, since they are going to sourse it for a 87 S4?
Thanks
Mk

Most likely they want to use Chinese glass. I had one. It was wavy in my line of sight. You should ask them to locate Pilkington/Sigla which is what was being installed at Sharktoberfest for $300. Generally antenna in glass is more expensive and less available, but it varies from time to time. They should search for what is usually the most common - green tint band, no antenna. Some glass companies seem clueless. Others can locate Pilkington for a good price right away.
