I want one. The designer really nailed it.
It is a modern interpretation for sure. Like the rear bumper cover.
Makes the new 911 look boring.

I doubt Porsche would use a rear mounted trans-axle design again though.

Hope he gets the job with Porsche.

I like it

the door and the hatch glass do the trick

IMHO..porsche could do with a coupe like this. I dont care what the 911 crowd says, while it looks good, the platform is stale.
They need something in the brochure to line up against the MB, Ferrari, Aston..Jag type coupes.

It's OK, but it sticks too close to the current fad of acres of sheet metal topped by gun slit windows.

The designer says he imagines a 400bhp front mounted V8. If that is the case, he is already lagging behind competing cars in the same range already.

Everything else in that range is pushing 500-600bhp.

Hopefully he is talking about a base model with those numbers...

Multiple Enzo, with links to multiple sources, but still very cool looking.

Agreed

Except they should not bring back "928" make it 929 or give it some other stupid name like the rest of the line-up. Maybe a tropical storm or something....

The 928 was a clean sheet design. Whatever this new car is, will be a "parts bin" assembly. I'm not saying this is a bad thing, but to call it a 928 will be a disservice to our cars legacy.

Maintains some of the 928 DNA, but the headlight treatment is too 911ish.

Tino, you know i dig your posts (he's a very funny guy)
but i disagree and think there is definitely hope once the economy here and abroad is really humming again. This would be a very expensive car but as Hacker states a parts bin car (harness/drivetrain) so it's doable once the Customer demand is there.

I agree, i bet they don't do pop ups though if it's ever done,
seems out of fashion..

Agree, hope they would give it a numeral like 921 or 929 but will probably name it after a plant or reptile if we are lucky.

I really think this will happen in the next 5 years.

Tho I loved the car in Breaking Bad the rear third has too much Aztek DNA.

The front 2/3s is no Emmy Winner either.

Yeah ... I like it too
Based on what a clean sheet 928 was
at intro compared to other models ,
this 929 would prolly list for 250k

It may be nice, but it doesn't have enough Porsche DNA. They would never, ever build this.

Looks like Panamera meets Nissan 370z (or is it 380z?).

If it does hit production I hope they do not use "928"
