Not at all.

Are you to cheap to purchase a membership, or you can't afford one?

Nicely skewered.

It'll prolly leave a mark.

IIRC ZF only manufactures DTCs for Porsche, the PDK. Normal ZF automatics, sequentials, and manuals you find everywhere but not ZF DTC.

Of course Mercedes "we do everything ourselves" is very secretive about this so who knows what went down when SLS went GT.

Looks like it is a Getrag tranny.

See what Porsche has done to us. A tiny rumor about the possibility of the return of the King gets squashed so rather talking than about their "new" models we are much more interested in that sweet thing Mercedes built.

ZF or Getrag, who cares. Still an amazing car with an amazing drivetrain.

Still not enough? How about the GTR - AKA "Green Hell"?

To any mechanic who works on these cars it's no real secret the gearboxes are not manufactured or designed in house by Mercedes.

Quick google search yields many articles (including a couple Wiki pages) about the design and build of these gearboxes.

I always liked this Mercedes video/commercial:

Michael Schumacher at the wheel if I'm not mistaken.

Not sure if this would be a good ew 928. I like it but the rear tails give the Jag look.

Default Another 928 Revival Article. Cool Rendering

Not much news here but I thought this rendering looked pretty sweet even if a V8 probably wouldn't fit under that hood line.
