I would actually like to own one of those tractors. Everyone out in NC has old Fords.

Default Here is a "Neo-928" Concept that might work for me

Except the gullwing doors. No gullwings for me - ever! I don't want to get trapped in this thing when the shiny side is no longer up.

They don't associate this concept with the 928, though.

Well... perhaps the A-Pillars should not be quite that thick. I kind of like to see where I'm going:

Not sold on the interior, which reminds me of a James Bond submarine car ... and I think I'd get claustrophobic, especially with the gullwing doors.

do not like. way too Roger Ramjet for me. Give me simple, flowing body lines, like a sexy lady or a 928! Seeing the 918 up close and personal a couple of weeks ago made my heart flutter - the designers nailed that modern style.

Pen-and-ink concept sketches are often unconstrained by the realities of the production world. Hood needs to be tall enough to allow an engine underneath, current safety standards for front bumper height need to be considered, and headlight height standards for US cars all limit us to cars that don't have the front sculpting shown in sketches like this. Interior safety standards/requirements make that sharp-edged spaceship dash unusable. No space for airbags/SRS. Next-gen cars will have soft OLED amorphous displays for dash components, no protruding ***** or switches, etc. Voice commands, all preceded by an attention-phrase like "HAL, would you please ...", assuming that HAL hasn't done it for you already.

Just use explosive bolts like the SLS has and upside down is no problem.

the shape is off...... the car looks like it should be a 4 door, but it only has 2. lose the panamara look and really go for what a modern 928 should look like.

Default Another new Porsche 928 rendering

Apologies if this is a repost. Haven't been on this forum for a while.

Here's another Porsche 928 rendering by a designer vying for a job at Porsche.

Let's see if they finally move forward with making it.
