Default OCIC Photos

Sean,
Thanks for taking the time to get some great photos of the people and cars at the OCIC; especially those of the people. That is what this event was all about; getting together with other 928 owners and having fun.

I don't know how you had time to take the photos with everything else you were doing (fixing cars, making sure everything else worked, etc.) but the photos of the people are priceless. It is like re-living the event and each situation again, and laughing along with everyone in the photos.

Thanks for all you did to make this a great time for everyone.

I actually didn't get many pictures of the cars and the ones I did get were at the last minute on Saturday evening. Spent most of the time getting the people for the exact reason you stated. It's what's important. I just had Roger come over to the computer so we could quiz each other on the names with the faces (Something I am horrible about).

I really wish I had taken more pictures. It was fantastic meeting you and the rest of the group, it's something I won't soon forget.

Well now it's REALLY over.

I am all packed, and sitting in the hotel waiting for a more reasonable time to catch the shuttle to the airport.

Roger owes me an invoice, and I owe him money but all the other monetary debts have been settled.

What I can't pay for with money is the hospitality of the people of Texas (and the US), especially SeanR, killav, laurav, soontobered and his lovely lady, and of course the irreplaceable Roger and Zane. This whole trip has been fantastic, and I have wonderful memories that I will cherish for a long time.

To all of you, thank you.

Sean: Nice pics! I heard about this one but didn't get to see it. I believe it got flatbedded out of the convention hall or should have.

And thanks again for all the assistance on getting me ready to head back home.

Well its Wednesday and I just came up for my first gulp of air.
Awesome Awesome Awesome - words escape me.
We all had a blast and thanks to everyone for all their help.
More when I surface for the second gulp of air.

The car indeed get to be towed out and dropped off at Rogers the same day, and I've just finished putting it all back together aside from an A/C expansion valve and other mods the owner wants to have done I need to take another picture of the belt. It's a Uniroyal and looks original, as did everything else in there. Good thing the car only has 48k on it. Very nice car aside from this.

Great pictures though
Aryan, my camera, which was once good, now can't take a decent picture. Or, as my wife likes to say, I can't take a good picture with a good camera.

I agree, I wish the tags had shown up better. I think they did on the high rez but since I had to shrink them to fit R-list.

Default How about some big pics?

Forgive me for this, but some of the photos are really best when they're BIG.
