I finally got home, shortly after midnight. My flight had been overbooked, and United bribed me (with a free ticket) to take a later direct flight. I even got my luggage - unbroken.
Flying out of Dallas seems to never go quite smooth for me. The only time I had been in Dallas before (many years ago, when I was still wrinkle free), I exited through the emergency slides after an engine blew-up on the runway.
Today, TSA gave me the full terrorist treatment, including full body search, complete search and swab of my carry-on luggage, and an interrogation disguised as a conversation. They could not find anything wrong with me, though...
Before I drop into bed, I want to thank a few people for this wonderful event. But I don't really know where to start and where to end...
Thanks, Roger and Jim, for taking the initiative to bring this event to Dallas.
Thanks, to the many volunteers who made it happen.
Thanks to all of you who came by my vendor table, asked questions, purchased items, or just came to chat.
Thanks all who listened to the story of my brake problems and made thoughtful suggestions on how it may be resolved.
Thanks Darien, Dr. Bob, Jim, Sean and Stan for doing your part in keeping Bill's car going after the pipe incident.
James Morrison - you crazy man: Thanks for hauling more than half of your fleet to Dallas, and giving us a glimpse at your blue time capsule. Also thanks for all your time and effort in creating the DVD, which I hope to watch again on one of the next days.
Marc White: I wish I could hire you as my sales rep.
Terri Kniebel: Thanks for showing your 928 OC T-Shirt collection. It's amazing to see how many events have been sponsored by the club, and how creative the shirt designs were.
Our friends from down under: Thanks for traveling so far and long to be with us. You are showing an incredible level of commitment to the 928 community!
Sterling: Thanks for taking me for a ride on/in your cannonball. The performance of your car is hard to comprehend, and even harder to describe. I did not think this was possible with a 928. Thanks for taking me to the airport, too!
Thanks to all others who have contributed, and were not mentioned above. I'm so glad I went to this great event!

I also have about 30 minutes of HD video as well. If I can find time, I'll try to edit a short sample and get it on the web.

I am so bummed I couldn't attend.. It was the classic "pic your passion" weekend. 928 OCIC or NASA road racing .. Had I not been competing for the NASA championship, I would have been there. I did contribute my $100 towards the event though ..
I did see a red 928 driving up I-45 on Friday while I was towing down to Texas World Speedway. I then saw a red 928 on the back of a trailer heading down i-45 on Sunday.. so I hope it wasn't the same car.
Looks like I missed a great one..

Behind every successful man is a woman. Ask me how I know. In this case, Laura is the woman behind the man. Cudos to Laura, she shines. By the way Laura, could explain why Randy is talking about your cleavage? Is there something you need to tell me. If you've become fond of Randy I would be delighted to ship him to you. Some assembly may be required when I'm thru with him.
I would also, on Randy's behalf, like to thank Zane and Joann and the ladies with OCIC. Terrific job by all.
The guys also did a great job. Jim Mayzurk, John, Sean, Sterling, Mike and the rest of the Dallas area team. What a great group.
As for Roger, well he's English. What can I say. Poor bugger needs all the help he can get and this time he got a lot. Randy was really impressed by his name recall during the gift drawing on Saturday night.
Great event, thanks again for getting Randy out of my hair.

Greetings fellow 928ers!
I can't tell you how wonderful it was to see all my 928 pals, and from all corners of the World. Very cool thing these 928 events, thanks to the Dallas Posse and Roger for taking this feat on.
I had a great time, loved hanging with all us "coconuts" and learned a thing or two as well!
You guys and gals are the greatest, thanks for your friendship, your support of the 928 community and the spirit of camaraderie that connects us all.
There was truly some excellent hardware on display. Excellent efforts by all. I am amazed by the creativity of this bunch, whether it's horsepower, excellence in craftsmanship, shining up the beasts, tuning, tweaking or just driving the Supercars, WE ROCK Baby.
My best to all.

Katie and I got home last night around 1:00 am. It was a great time. Special thanks to Roger, Jim, and the other DFW guys for putting on such a great event. I also want to say thanks (Roger) for the great door prize.
Thanks also to those who gave presentations, It was great to learn about the new SharkPlotter, and to get some more answers about the ST2. I cant say enough good things about Paul and Linda. They put on a great demo, and brought me some fantastic parts. For those who have yet to see Paul's work in person, you are really missing out.
We had a great time. It was fantastic to meet people I only know by voice and computer screen, as well as seeing all those familiar faces of the die-hards who made both the SITM and OCIC events this year.

The car belongs to Ann and me. And yes it's a Keele SC. It's a late '91 Exclusive that was brought into the US in '98. All leather, rootwood and a few other goodies.

Thanks to Roger, Jim and the whole Texas gang. Ann and I had a great time and it was enlightening to put faces with the names here on RL. I didn't think it was possible to gained more respect and admiration for Paul and Linda Champagne's work, but I did. Just WOW. And a hell of a nice guy, as was everyone at OCIC. See ya all next year.
