Sadly, Jeannie and I will not be able to attend this time thanks to a bunch of slack appraisers, pest inspectors and lawyers dragging their feet to the last minute on a house closing that was supposed to be way BEFORE the 31st!!

Originally the closing was going to be done a few days before when we planned to leave for Dallas (yesterday). Delay after delay kept putting the closing closer and closer to the OCIC. We finally got an e-mail last night at 9.56pm telling us the closing is at Noon today, the very last day of the contract!!... GRRRRRRR!!

Our apolgies for not making it, but since this is a family thing and not just about me, I don't have any choice in totally dictating the schedule.

I am sure everyone will have a great time! Kudos again to the Texas gang for putting this together!

Check and see if there are any discounted last minute flights. I won't get there until tonight and will only hang around tonight for a couple of hours as I'm bringing work to do. but I've cleared all of Saturday day until about 9:00 PM to immerse myself in all things 928. I was looking forward to seeing you at an event where you can just hang out.

Get your paperwork out of the way and drive up, we will be in the bar (the Dam Site Inn) tonight and we will leave the door open for you. Bring Thor too; the other dog that is spending the night will have a playmate. You are always welcome in Hell.

If you can't make it we understand. Thank you for the door prize certificates that you sent up for us. The crew will defiantly be using them in the next few months.

Unfortuantely logistics are easier to type than execute, especially when you live in the "outback". I just checked with Expedia, it could be done, barring any glitches, but very costly and the time contraints will take the fun and relaxation out of the equation. I end up being rushed, tired, and a zombie at SITM, I don't want to do the same at the OCIC.

YOU AND ME BOTH!!!! This was a big part of why I was so looking forward to the OCIC! Luckily I will have that opportunity at the Frenzy in 9 weeks.

My worst fears realized. I didn't register because what usually happens did. Going to have to work this weekend. A whole 'nother kind of hell.

Man, I am getting tired of this, I lost my registration money for the PCA Parade in Keystone CO because I had to work. I so want to be there. Especially since I attended the 1st OCIC track day at Hallett just a week after getting my first 928. I was the guy in the white 944 Turbo

We're having the event in DFW because someone (Rog100) stepped up to the bar and volunteered to do it almost 2 years ago. He got the blessing of the Owners Club and the rest will soon be history.

If you want the next one on the west coast then just volunteer!
