I wish I was there, was a no-go due to having to go to CT and work on my mom's house and work. The bright side is I'm picking a motor up tomorrow for the 87 5-speed.

Well, it's over except for vacating the convention center tomorrow morning for the two tours. Great time was had by all. 67 fantastic 928's . We filled the center, with room for maybe 4 or 5 more cars. The paintless dent removal guys were busy all day, the detail guy was busy all day Friday and Saturday. We rolled a bunch of rear fenders with an Eastwood fender roller and a heat gun. The Snap-On truck sold some tools and we managed to have a door prize for every attendee. Nicole form Hooked-on-cars sold a bunch of stuff and both 928's-R-US and 928sWorldwide sold a bunch of stuff.
I finally met Mason Fine in person and IMHO he got a raw deal on this forum. Seems like a square shooter trying to provide a fair deal.
Public thanks to Mark Anderson of 928 Intl, Gary Knox, Jon Holdsworth and Earl Gilstrom for taking on the task of Concours judges. Great Job!
Paul Champagne had seats of every stage of repair and dis-repair and gave some great advice on how much superior the 928 seats of any year are better than the new Boxter or 911 seats are (the damn things are all plastic).
Jim Corenman and Louie Ott gave a great talk on the Sharktuner and some of the nuances of the 928 electronics.
Even the food was good. Very successful gathering.

Yes he did and he should have entered it in the full concourse but didn't. (there was a half a plot by the concours judges to judge cars that should have been but weren't entered - time got the better of us.!
