Jim and I will be at the hotel on Thursday evening and have a couple of venues for dinner depending on the concensus.
I am easy to spot - short, fat, one eye, shorts and T shirt.

So, with a little luck I'll probably be departing Austin at about 8, be in Dallas at about 11-11:30 at that rate, probably too late to duck in to Arlington to grab a beer, so I'll camp out in Dallas and be there Friday in the AM. Look forward to meeting everyone! now to just get working on the car...

Thursday evening - unless someone else comes up with a better suggestion - there is a great BBQ place called "Traildust" very close to the convention center.
Meet at the Sheraton at 5pm for cocktails and then off to the restaurant at around 6.15pm.
Be there are be square!!!

Sounds great! See everyone at the "Agave Lounge" in the Sheraton. My host happy hour will start at 4:00p for those that want to get started early.
This just in - I spoke with the concierge and they have a couple of shuttles they are happy to drive us to and from any location within a 3 mile radius. This might make great sense to use this free service instead of driving our cars around. Especially when alcohol is involved.

Sounds good to me - IIRC we arrive in DFW at 3:50 - just in time for Cocktails . Now just need to work out how to stay awake after 19 hours in the air and my body will be thinking it's 8:00am.
