Totally agree, lot of respect for Leif and you do NOT want that car hanging outside his shop it will grow mold over every surface in short order !! That is some micro climate he has up there.

Anyway great news on the condition, fuel pressure, AC and quiet lifters .... wow.

Just my post #39 on this thread...For some the joy is the hunt, for others it is keeping them , and many keep score by how much money they made flipping cars. Kiesan is a "dealer" he bought the Honda bike to resell it not that there is anything wrong with that At least he got the car out of the garage, now has it running and I hope it gets the home it deserves...

True 'dat, indeed I am a licensed/bonded/insured Washington State used vehicle dealer. Bikes are my bread/butter thing and the cars are more of a hobby. Just so we are absolutely clear, I did go to this guys house to get the bike. Although in fact I was hoping he would offer up the car to me and he did.

I love all of this stuff just as much as anyone here, especially anything from the 80's. If I had a bigger showroom (I do my bike biz in a 1500 sq/ft room) this car would just sit here with red ropes around it.

Jim rest assured, I will go to the ends of the earth to find this car a deserving home. From the amount of PM's and emails I'm getting, I'm guessing I'll have to go no further than this forum.

If I didn't just buy the GT (and it wasn't an auto) I would be all over this one!

Hold on... I'm watching "Wall Street" on AMC. Right now it's at the part where Charlie Sheen starts to succomb to the greed/money/power. I'll get back to you when it's over

Boys and girls is this the lowest mileage 928 around? Is there one in a museum somewhere with just delivery mileage or something? Surely the Porsche factory has something like this on display. Anyone know?

Doesn't this Chuck person know that these cars are meant to be driven? What a tragedy!

Darn that Kermit!
