Things are good around here, just farking cold now. Woke up and it was 32. Wanted to stay in bed but that didn't happen. You missed a great 3rd coast event, but you already knew that. Besides me and Justin being phaggots, not much else is new. The shop is going very well on the service side and Roger is his usual grumpy self. He walks outside in shorts and a cap and claims the weather is perfect with a smile on his face. Crazy Brit.

Sterling is still a *****.

Nothing else new. Tell the wife and puppy 'Hi' from us.

You didn't have to say anything; some things are a given, and are common knowledge of the rest of us.

Yes, every full moon...

Don't know about anyone else, but we had a great Thanksgiving. Lots of food, a few drinks, and more food. Now for those of us who had to work today it was not too bad either. Rogers Kermit II is almost back on the road.

Hope it was a great time and that this weekend is safe for everyone.

It's a great weekend. Got home late Wednesday night, after three flying legs of which none were full. Airports on Wednesday were amazingly calm, with almost none of the pre-holiday rush that business travellers work hard to avoid. Great family gathering (not at our house, yeah!) on Thursday, after taking time to wash a month's worth of dust and ash off the 928. It was parked in the garage, but the nearby brushfires over the last month left a blanket of gray on everything, even the cars in the garage. Then visted Rolf in Burbank to install the LH brain that Rich Andrade rebuilt for us a month ago. A FedEx snafu at our end delayed delivery to us until after I'd left. So my car is clean, Rolf's is running again, Larry's has a new battery and will soon have a battery maintainer connection to keep it that way. VCR gathering Sunday, and a huge Motor Toys gathering next weekend with thousands of interesting cars participating.

928 Life is good!

Mine's been good-too many family members though with 3 dogs running in and out of the house. Charlie wanted to hide.

I did sneak out for a drive yesterday morning.

Larry, Rolf and I motored over to the monthly Supercar Sunday event. Our casual observation is that there's so much too look at... the F430's and CGT's were parked so their owners could go touring. Perfect day for a parking-lot show. Well over 100 cars displayed.

I know, worthless without pics. Maybe it's an incentive to get out and actually attend an event. For those in the frozen nether regions, we started the morning with windbreakers to ward off the winter chill. By 7:30 we were all in shirtsleeves. Next weekend is the Motor for Toys event with several thousand signed up already. Hope I can attend! For those out-of-towners, leave now while gas is cheap and you still have time!

Good thanksgiving. Didn't do much this week for work, so stayed home and took out the engine of the 82, disassembled it to see what I should do (options, options) Cleaned the engine bay, figured out what I should order and parked the project 78 next to the 82 in the garage so I can swap the transmissions and rear end stuff. Also shocks, some calipers. That will leave me with a very nicely sprung and breaking 82 with some more open doors on the 78 project.

wifey had a hip replacement on tuesday am. went fine. spent week shuffling to and fro hospital. she gets out next weekend probably/depending on rehab results. pretty quiet around home w/out the usual 50 closest friends for dinner.

she had to have a small suitcase'd sized thing between her legs to keep hip in proper position. I call it the midget in a suitcase, and the reason she's so happy, lol... prolly just the morphine pump she has, or vicadin, etc... or there's really a midget in there, hahaha poor fella. after 4 days, he's gotta be needing a reprieve by now.... she's still smilin though, hahaha

had an accident w/a bunny in the 928 at about 60mph on the driveway. rabbit lost that one. spent today cleaning blood and fur off the shark. yeech. coyotes got the roadkill within an hour or less. glad it wasnt a tangle w/one of them

bought a new 42" plasma at walmart on thxgiving sale - only $598!! set it up in bedroom for wifey for when she returns. now she'll prolly be more entertained in bed than she has been for years, cept for the midget thing, hahaha...

Well, it's happened, my wife is leaving me. It was inevitable once she found out about My-ling. I'm gonna miss Ang, she's been great to me. Roger is in line to take care of her while me and My take a tour of Cambodia for a few months.

It's been real, and it's been fun but it hasn't been real fun....

I think Roger ordered the wrong part for Sean. Some how he got a Mail Order Bride, or groom.
Sean just remember, GIRL WITH ADAMS APPLE, NOT GIRL!
