Are you kidding me? Le Mans? I have it, and what isn't to like with a movie so focused on Porsche 917's? The backstory is kind of lame, but it is great entertainment, especially with the sound turned up. I might recommend Grand Prix, which also is available on DVD.

The middle of June every year, I'm pretty much useless for one weekend as I watch as much of the race as possible.

The ALMS series is fantastic...I've seen races at Laguna Seca, and the last two years in Houston, although it looks like that race won't happen again soon with the demise of Champ Car. Laguna Seca this Saturday!

The Grand Am Rolex series is also great racing; although it is only 2 classes: Daytona Prototypes (several chassis builders and engines-Porsche included-but they look similar) and the GT class. Probably a bit more aggressive when it comes down to the championship as there is a fair bit of rubbin', but they still keep sanity for the most part. I went to Watkins Glen a couple of years ago to watch one of these races, awesome! The 24 hours of Daytona makes for a great garage party excuse as well. Seems to me I had a pretty good one in DFW earlier this year -too bad you weren't tuned in to the crowd then.

Maybe Brad or Sean will pick up the baton. Although Sean should pick up my going away present S4 wing and finish it first, so I can finish my garage.

Killa V,
Damn, I'm sorry I missed the fun. I was going to come over tonight to press a bearing. Your project sounds like a lot more fun.

Killav,
You have been a very bad boy. You will receive a tongue lashing when you get home today.

To everyone else:
Enuf with all the private messages already. I will not help anybody else install their shocks!

Ahh the off topic thread continues. Totally against the charter of R-list. Sorry Russ, some enjoy it. Poke poke. Thanks for reminding me that this needs to be brought to the up top.

Ed, how bad did I just screw up my cam covers? I damn near used Ruby's paint that you left me and I decided to use that yehellow instead.

It'll never run again. Don't button it up until I come by and pour some gravel in there.

Can you at least give the car a blessing? I mean, it's not run since we placed your previous blessing on it. It actually got me to do some stuff I needed. I think she needs the Doc Touch.

Sean, That Yellow retains heat so your car will run hot and seize up the cams. So Doc, no reason to dump rocks in the motor, it will do it on it's own.

He's trying to out bling the bling-meister. Never gonna happen, I got some purple metallic rattle cans at K-mart.
