I don't know whether your radiator has side tanks for a transmission cooler, but (if you have an automatic) check the transmission fluid level.
WHERE DID YOU ADD THE WATER TO THE RADIATOR??

I routinely use 8.5+ in a oil & filter change.

The water was put into the reservoir right?

Is it not freezing overnight where you are?..............if so you should be using a a/f mix otherwise you may have a split block to repair.

So the oil is already ruined, drain the oil and remove the oil filter. Add more coolant and see if accumulates in oil pan.

Well, that is the color and texture I was hoping not to see. There were no indications before the oil change ?

ok good...............can you drain the engine oil into a clean drain pan and look at it closely? If so is it contaminated with antifreeze/water or what?

I dont know how but was there any chance any water/coolant get into the oil filter?

none at all, not even a tick.....

i'm really hoping that all it is, is a blown gasket and not a crack head, block and anything else like that.... but.. i would be happier with something simpler... where's the best place to price head gaskets... someone has to have them for less than $300.... after all, it's just a gasket.....

thanks

i'll get that done in the morning.... i'm pretty sure it's antifreeze mixed... when i walked into the garage to get the pic, i could still smell the sweet smell of antifreeze....

I'll do some searching for best priceing on what you will need. Do you have a coolant hose with the breather ? Get her something good for X-MAS !!!

928 Int is selling head gskts for $84.

As has been mentioned pressurise the coolant system and do a leakdown test before assuming it is a bad gasket.

Did you confirm what was causing the smoke from under the hood?
