I dunno Sab i think there is somehting mucked up in the alignement of the pulley or somehting?
does the belt make a curve as it run from one pulley to another?
Run a straight edge across?
ive had no issues on mine or Darriens yet?

as for an 8psi pulley, im not sure what options you have with the eaton?? I think there may be an adpater or somehting fro other pulleys. Mike would best answer this i think?

For the Autorotors you can call DR and he can get them...speaking of which, i need to make a call time for a couple more psi.

Tony,

The Crank pulley is a hard anodized billet 7 incher with 6 ribs. It also has 6 rib pulleys for the PS and Air Pump. The AC uses a GT diameter pulley in V shape.. I think I posted a pic many many moons ago. I'll see if I can find it..

Oh, BTW, isn't it FL 41 instead of FL410...? Unless you guys are really gettin' up there..?

I am also using a DP tensioner, as I like the way it bolted up to the block..

HTH,

Hi Tony,
my belt has not moved in a while now (at least not the PS belt...). But Cameron's has cut into the radiator hose a couple of times now. Mine has done it to me as well in the past. I just think it's better to be safe then sorry, since even if you put a plate in front of the pulley or get the older style hose. It can still fall of and ruin the day.

HTH,
always add 2 zeros...FL's are above 18000 410=41000
This is on a twin screw, correct?
Which one..whipple or autorotor?
What size upper did you use to keep the boost to a "reasonable level" with the 7inch lower?
Along with that, what hood clearance do you have with the larger upper pulley.
Love to see pics..PM if you like.
Im going to drop my upper pulley down a bit...i want appx 10-11psi, not exactly sure of what i will need. You can do all the math you want but until you toss it on your own application, you really dont know. Part of the fun

Tony,
The sc section of my crank pulley is 8 ribs and 7.25" diameter. I think someone did the calcs and the pulley on the sc would be too large to get the right ratio and would hit the hood(?). I could have my machine shop make the same pully with a smaller diameter if interested.

What size crank pulley you guys thinking about? Or should I ask what psi are you wanting to run? I would like to be around 8 or 9 psi.

Tim:

You should get a bunch of orders here for a a pulley that would allow us Supermodelers to revert to the stock accessory pulleys/belts. Count me in for one. Thanks for offering.

Anybody interested in a SLIGHTLY larger one that would give us, say, about 20% more boost?
