Fellow Porsche 928 enthusiasts, this year will be the 3rd annual Sharktoberfest event coordinated between SOCAL 928 and 928 International. Based on attendance from SF03 and SF04, the number of attendees nearly doubled. SF04's attendance was over 140 928s in one location in one day with over 150 the whole weekend. We even had several folks from outside of the USA come to attend last year and we hope we will have even more this year. That may have been a world record up until this past spring where a European event hosted over 180 928s. We are pushing for an attendance of over 200 Porsche 928s this year to set a new world mark. With the momentum of last year’s event and the sensational time had by all, we are confident that this year we'll see historic attendance in Southern California.
Ask anyone who attended last year’s event and they will tell you it simply cannot be missed! So much information, so many friendly 928 owners, such great giveaways, food, fun, driving ....and the list goes on!
We’ve managed to solidify some great things for attendees this year. Many said they thought it impossible to top last year, but just you wait and see, we will!
This will be a fantastic event, so be sure to block out the time on your calendar to attend. You can even attend just for the day on Saturday the 22nd to help with the world record, but know that you will be missing half of the fun.
Another fantastic thing we have added this year is a dedicated SHARKTOBERFEST web site!!! This site will serve as the main hub for this one of a kind event. PLEASE NOTE, We will be adding more detailed schedule information as time gets closer to the event. There are still some things under construction on the site that we hope to have finished soon. Our main intention was to get this site LIVE and online! This will help you stay in touch with event info and give you the ability to REGISTER RIGHT AWAY!!! You even have the option of pre paying for some of the weekend’s activities! See the site to find out what is included in the fee!!!

Hey, great to hear/read that you are considering to come! You can ALWAYS visit the Petersen museum on your way to or from the event. It's a great place, I agree, but the Sharktoberfest event needs to keep changing things a little every year to keep things interesting.

Yes, I agree, the tour of the "storage" area at the Peterson was a fabulous treat, and I would like to do it again. You can't get that tour when you visit the museum on your own. I've told many people about it. Repeat as well as first-time attendees would enjoy this.

Yeehaw....it's like having one of those Red Tag sales the day after Thanksgiving. I think the door to Sharktoberfest is officially knocked down and trampled over!
We have many registered and paid already...and this thing was just posted late last night! Kinda like a concert that sells out in record time. HA HA..we're lovin' it!

We will most likely make a note on the website that the prints are no longer available or just lose the text. FWIW, I hope we DO run out!...if you know what I mean.
