Default Poor Stitch!

We'll see what's what after the power company gets done.

I haven't been able to get close because of the power line, but it looks like the fence took the worst of it.

THe crew finished getting the tree out of the alley at 9pm, leaving me to do the rest. A quick look showed that the windshield and rear hatch were both shattered. I cleared the tree away from Stitch and dragged it to the pile. As far as I could tell with a quick inspection by work light, there is no significant body damage. I covered him tailgate to hood with a tarp. I'll take a closer look in the morning.

Is it cheaper/easier to replace the rear hatch glass, or just get another rear hatch?

I replaced the rear hatch glass on my GTS, piece of cake. Did it myself one evening in the garage. Changing the glass is a lot easier then painting a complete hatch, plus alignment it.

Bummer! Probably a monir flesh wound given the inherent body strength and lots of leafy braches to help spread the load- anybody you can sue the crap out of [Greenpeace/ utility company?] given it is a favourite past time your side of the pond?

Overhead power lines in the back yard?- glad I live in the third world- haha! Chin up- keep smiling!

This is what comprehensive insurance is for.
You did have insurance?

Poor Stitch - first the suspension and now the tree - ugh! Is PA a zero deductible glass state like SC?

Oh, gosh no. The amount I would have spent on insurance since I bought this car would far outpace the price I paid, the repair costs from the accident and this incident, and most likely the value of the car.
