only just seen this. Glad I'm too old to go in for this sort of madness.
I loved the sound and power of my 928 lump. I reckon a V8 in a 951 must be the perfect match.

Will there be enough clearance for the steering column under heavy braking and acceleration etc ? or are you going to fit travel limit restrictors to the engine mounts?

Interesting shackle arrangement to the lifting chain by the way ,ahem.... cough

That looks great. You guys look to have done a good job with the headers. I just got my kit last night (thanks, Gregg) and will be getting started next week.

I believe the engine mounts are solid.

Yeah, I don't think you'll see those moving much. For an overkill "just-in-case", a triangulated mount that attached at the factory
front tie down location could possibly be configured.

I'll check into some possibilities on my build...
Urethane mounts seem to take a beating on the track.

Also, in case I haven't said yet...
Nice car, Sam! You're next, right?

Thanks, man. Glad it's working out.

What is the clearance from the primary to the steel upright? I can't see from the pics.

Sorry, too late... already shipped it out. There is lots of room there, though.
