What did you do to your 924/944 today

Found myself a dyno today, did 3 pulls with a best of 172/169 uncorrected, Im at 6000ft so i pay a fairly nasty penalty for altitude! that said this is dead on with what i expected.

Watching it sit forlornly in my freezing garage waiting for a mechanical pressure tester to arrive so I can track down my *&$@&# no oil pressure issue.
On a positive note, this break did allow me to change all the light bulbs in my instrument cluster and address some dirty grounds that made my ammeter read low. Slow progress indeed. C'mon Spring!

I hear you on that "C'mon Spring" deal. My shop was 20 degrees yesterday..No ambition to (or time) to heat the space up..takes at least two hours to get it up to 40. Ready to go when the weather starts to warm up a bit..Garage is the same way.... got a big heater for it, but too cold out there too. Got another 3-6 inches of snow last night. Maybe this weekend...when things warm up a bit. BRRRR!

Spent the better part of a Saturday disassembling, cleaning, and adjusting my door latch trigger & release mechanism. Before it would take 3 or 4 "attempts" to open the door, and then you had to pull with all of your might to get it to release. Now I can open the door like a civilized person, or as my friend puts it, "It's hard to look cool when you can't open your door".

My car has not been out in almost two months now. It finally warmed up outside enough to spend some time finishing the audio update. I added an 8” JL subwoofer in a KLA speaker box driven by an Alpine 500w mono amp having already replaced the stock rear 4x6s with Polks and the fronts with Pioneers. I originally planned to only replace the rears but was underwhelmed by the performance of the four 4x6s, especially the low end.
It was a lot of work installing the map and running wires and cables but the sound is incredible now and well worth the effort. I didn’t want to run 0gauge power to the rear so I installed the amp on the bottom of the glovebox and ran the speaker wire along the door sill to the rear cubby. I’m super impressed with this $100 Pioneer head unit too (MVH-X580BS). It only took a few minutes to setup the sub and crossover settings.
I’m looking forward to the next sunny day.

Took advantage of the scarily warm weekend to put all the finishing touches on the 16V engine swap. It's finally back on the ground and road worthy. Of course I didn't drive it anywhere for fear of salt on the roads. And now it's dumping snow. So I'll wait out the rest of winter just to then baby it during the spring for the engine break in period. Hopefully everything is in order. It revs perfectly and sounds great, but the exhaust still has a bit of smoke from the assembly lube as haven't actually got it up to temperature yet. I should probably replace the odo gear so I can track the milage on the new engine, but the meter cluster won't come out because I have a plastic dash cover that I don't want to remove because I don't know how it's held on.

"Of course I didn't drive it anywhere for fear of salt on the roads. And now it's dumping snow". LOL. I'm in SE Michigan as well (Between Flint and Clarkston), and I too took advantage of the warm Saturday to work on the car. I go out to the garage and start it overtime the weather hits 45-50 degrees. I walked out the door to go to work on Monday to a blizzard. Good thing I pulled my brake calipers for my February "Winter Project".

Replaced my timing belt and managed to sever the big red o-ring where the intake tube connects to the throttle body. While waiting on that to arrive (tomorrow, hopefully) I changed the thermostat and was about to change the thermoswitch on the radiator, but the new seal is cracked. Ordered a replacement that will hopefully fit (should also be here tomorrow) so decided to swap out the cam oil tube elbow...I got the brass replacement from Ideola's garage. Man, he was not kidding about being gentle with the old one. I apparently was not, as the old elbow broke off in the hole when I dared look at it. Fortunately, it was pretty easy to pry that out. That's all buttoned up again now, so hopefully after those two seals arrive I can drive it and see what I broke

76F here in sunny S. California. I write it up to global warming. Or maybe my decision to move back to S. California. Hard to say. I do remember literally frying an egg on the sidewalk when I lived in Taft back in 1964 so it could just be the location.
