I'm guessing that's all new vacuum lines? It's on my list of to dos this winter (have had the parts long enough!) Anything tricky about it? I've read and re-read several threads about the job but always find notes from people who've done the job recently helpful. Did you do anything else while the manifold was off?
Hi Dave
Yes I did venturi delete and ran AOS line. All highly recommended. Gets rid of messy hard pipe tree. Biggest problem I had was loosening bolt at front of intake. The hard pipes make it hard. I had to buy 1/4" 13mm socket as my set only went to 10mm and 1/2" won't fit. Even using 1/4" was still tricky. Nice thing is now hard pipe tree is gone, removing intake will be a lot easier next time.
Thanks man! My pride and joy. She absolutely loves cars, being in and around them. If I'm not careful, she'll immediately jump into the drivers seat, grab the steering wheel and gear ****, and make vroom noises if I don't buckle her up right away, or unbuckle her and look away.
I'm always hearing "I drive daddy! I drive!"
Little does she know she'll be getting an electric Porsche for Christmas...
... I'm sure yours will be the same way!
Very cute, I have two toddlers (boy and girl) and they love the cars. I can't get them out of the garage lol.
Cleaning out a garage for 6 hours straight in 30 degree weather with wind chills isn't always fun, but it is when you've got a goal set in mind; in this case, to get my '84 in the garage before serious snowfall.
Here's before:
Had a couple buddies come over and help out, and hot chocolate was had, and some memorabilia:
And here's the end result of our frozen work!
Put some gas in the tank and drove it for a little bit. Goes in to storage tomorrow Purchased a 1989 Volvo 240 DL yesterday for $560 from some lady who wanted it gone! It'll get me from point A to point B this winter. Cant complain!
Put the body panels back on and started diagnosing some electrical issues. The front turn signals are plugged up correctly, but inop. Parking lights work.
