on my new 52" race ramps. Awesome because they split and give you better access around them. I waited a long time to pull the trigger on these due to their price but I will get a lot of use out of them.

Finally back on the Road!! Any of you with kids have read "If you give a mouse a cookie..." This was the "If you give a Porschie a project..." story. Clutch went out (83 944). While I had the rear end, drive train out, and exhaust out, I resealed the passenger balance shaft (had already done driver's side), switched to Steel headers (Thanks F1Rocks!), Clipped the bell housing, wrapped the headers, new 02 sensor, can't even remember all the things now. But its back together.

The problem is, I seem to have disabled the handy Porsche 944 parking indicators. See, I used to be able to tell exactly where I'd parked based on the black marks left in the parking spaces. It was quite a handy feature. No I have no way to tell if I have been pulling in far enough in my garage, or which spaces I've used at work. I'm sure I'll find a way to fix it!

I removed the bum brake light bulb. Didn't get anything else done because my daily driver took all my attention.

Do they have a good positive stop to keep you from going over?

Got the power steering pump rebuilt but didn't have a chance to install it. Maybe after work tomorrow.

Today I unboxed my 18x10 Turbo Twist replica wheels. I should have done more research before buying these because they're not going to fit without a lot of work... They were a steal, though. Anyone want them?

Crappy cell phone pics:

These are super wide!

What are you trying to fit those wheels on?

My 88 NA. The guy I bought them from had them on his 87 951 race car. It looked nice and they were a pretty good deal, so stupid me decided to buy them right away without doing my homework... If it's going to take +5 fiberglass fenders and $3000 coilovers with 2" diameter springs and -50 degrees of camber to fit, then **** them. I'll just resell them, hopefully break even, and buy something else. These are heavy as **** too, so I have no idea why I bought them...

I'd really like to reuse the 17'' OZ's I have on my VW when I sell it, but they don't make 5x130 to 5x100 adapters

Replaced the console (the "leather" part that wraps around the sides of the armrest, ashtray, stick, etc.) because mine had ugly holes and screws in the passenger side from a previous '80s mobile phone installation. While I was in there, I decided to integrate the USB hookup from my Alpine head unit a little better. I popped out one of the switch blanks, drilled and filed an opening in it, and press fitted + JB Welded a USB connector into it that goes into the back side of my head unit before popping the blank back in and reassembling everything. Now I just plug my iPhone cable into the USB connector and drop my iPhone into the cubby
