I removed all the old, yellowing chip guards today. With a hairdryer and adhesive remover (and a lot of time) they are gone. My car looks much better now!

Installed my new water pump and balance shaft gears. Hopefully tomorrow I can get the AOS in place so I can install my intake. I can see the light...

after doing belts on one car on saturday, i proceeded with a headgasket replacement on a 1982 car. after this picture i got the belts on and distributor. going to have the intake cleaned before installation. this car has been sitting with broken belt/bent valves for close to a year so it should be an occasion when its done.

If you think those braces helped, try a lower chassis brace from RSBarn.

Nope, all manual brakes. A booster wouldn't clear the valve cover. I think I might have a 924 booster lying around from when I had to get the cereal bowl, but I don't know off you'd want it.

Put my sports seats in last night. The leather products I bought did really well to fix up a lot of the damage to the leather. I still need to do some work on the drivers side outer bolster though and I'm ignoring some damaged piping in the same spot.

They are heavier than the seats they replaced but worth it. Much more comfortable not including the extra bolstering alone. This google maps image is old but this interchange with 3 roundabouts is 2 mins up the road from my house. Even at the speedlimit of 50kph the seats feel glorious! http://goo.gl/maps/w0NmZ

I don't know what you're talking about, they're the most comfortable thing I've ever sat in. I wouldn't trade them for any other seat.
