Any pics of the seat delete?

Replaced the front right sway bar suspension clip & bushing and added 15mm spacers to the rear wheels. Just completed timing belt and water pump too! Can't wait to get her back on the road again!

Yesterday I put it in the garage to get the failing rubber clutch replaced with a spec stage 2 along with a master and slave too. Decided to leave the flywheel stock and just resurface it as its going to be my daily. Going to fix the windshield washer motor and put the snow tires I got on it too, going to hit winter with a vengeance. I may of already posted this??? but I was lazy and just put it up yesterday haha.

I'll try to get some shots tonight. It's nothing particularly special. Removed the seat and covered over the metal with perlon felt. Replaced all of the carpet from the rear seat forward (the rest will follow) with inexpensive, but durable felt I picked up at a fabric store. There are RS-style lightweight carpet kits on e-bay for about 300 bucks. I replicated this for under 40 dollars by cutting and forming it myself.

Woot! Today I discovered that the new-to-me '77 924 parts car's clock works. Now I'll finally know how late I am when driving the '87 s.

Well its been a busy week. Replaced all four rotors pads and sensors, unstuck the drivers side front caliper, pulled off the stock exhaust, and had a magnaflow cat and my turbo catback exhaust installed.

On the exhaust note, I have a little story to go with it. Because I replaced the stock cat with a magnaflow high flow cat, I took the car to a shop that could do custom exhaust work to make up the proper bends and flanges....Welllll my turbo catback exhaust that I bought off a rennlister last year did not come with the muffler tip. I forgot to mention to the exhaust shop that I didn't have it, and not to worry about it. Well they thought they were helping me out. They took a reducer, and put it INSIDE the outlet, then took my OLD muffler tip, and slid it INSIDE the reducer!!! The car sounded almost normal, but had a definiate "puffing" sound at idle. 3k+ sounded good. Doh. So much for putting on a larger diameter exhaust only to have it reduced at the tip WTF??!???
Ok long story, but I chopped off the reducer and tip. Now the exhaust is 14" away from the bumper, and has an awful booming idle, and low speed droning sound. Above 3K sounds great. Doh! This is my daily driver, it is way too annoying, and my wife gave me a hard time after I left the house early in the am because it was way too loud. This morning I bought a piece of pipe that was the same diameter as the muffler exit, had it enlarged slightly so I could slip it over and tack it in place to quiet it down, until I can order in a nicer tip. Sounds great now. I was surprised the effects that 14" of pipe tip had on the car.

Here's a crappy shot of my "Rear seat delete". Did from the rear seat forward for about 40 bucks.

Started removing the cheesehead bolts on the flywheel.
Going to have to rattle gun them off, the last mechanic to work on it tightened them FAR too much

Nice! I will be doing that this weekend. Seats and carpet are already out, going fabric shopping tommorow.
