I'm going to have to stop off at your place of work next time I'm down in Melb, Cyberpunky.

I just finished installing my new alternator and tensioning the belt. Running smoothly just as expected.
Think I still have some grounding issues though, so I'm off to clean the grounds tomorrow.

changed over to stainless, braided brake lines and replaced all the brake fluid with Super Blue Racing fluid. Also replaced the output shaft seals on the transmission and the rubber seals in the oil pressure relief valve. Everything I can think of that's rubber and under any kind of pressure is getting replaced. All of the engine seals were hard and leaking; while the flywheel was off to get to the leaking rear main seal the Clutch was replaced. With 120,000 miles and an '87 birthdate, it's obvious as to why all the rubber stuff is hard.

Man you are really coming along on that car. Yes the rubber and plastic deteroration was how my 1986 951 was with 91,000. I just started having more and more of it so I re-did most of it. There were quite a few with internal problems that were not apparent from the outside. I had to wait a few weeks here and there too for parts to come from the FatherLand. There are a few bits here and there that still need attention and changing but I think that is par for these cars and any older cars. It just seems like so much more rubber items on a 951.

I am going to be stocking up on a few bits n pieces for sure. I am getting the other undertray next week, which means my car will be complete for the first time since I have owned it

Finally got around to adjusting the eccentric on the rear spring plates while I had it up on a lift. New wheel bearings, fronts pads, and resurfacing the front rotors next week. I love being able to do everything myself, especially when I'm spoiled with the lifts at school
