What did you do to your 924/944 today

the single wiper mod is quite simple, just pound out the ball joint pin on the middle wiper pivot bracket, drill a new .281 diameter hole (letter K drill i believe) then weld it in place put it back together and its done. the only critical thing is getting the hole position in the right spot. i will post a diy thread with the hole position dimensions once i get my new wiper motor, pending pulling down my pants and bending over as tuition payment to our privatized american college system.

i think every pretty girl should have a lot of tongue pics.
in most countries that's the best way to get your daughter married off, quick.

It was clear and 60F here today.
Backed out the 1986 951 and took it for a spirited little run with 1980's music from KC and The Sunshine Band running in the cassette deck . Fun.
Pulled in to park back here at the house and was walking around back of the 951 with it running and saw that the right rear running light is out. Easy fix of course I have the bulbs. But , .......
......... It is always something .

i wonder what cars from the '80s are still being cared for like these ? i know there is a Supra and Rx7 following out there. but not so sure if that covers the '80s cars.
just from the '80s. 911s ? ok but after that, what ? exotics ? there weren't exactly a ton of them. but sure... what other cars ? audi's ? no way. BMW's ? maybe a few M cars. Mercedes ? ummm.... besides the AMG's which were true exotics by '80s standards, i think no except for the odd cars driven by eccentric 85 year olds... Vettes ? yes. BGNs and Regal do-overs ? sure. other domestics ? 80's style Mustangs seem to be quite gone. Camarobirds ? i guess i see a few. Supra's ????... from the '80s ? dunno... how about an '80s era RX7 ? ..... and the 280s and 300 Z s ?? i can see collecting the early '80s 280z's but the Z31 300s were truly some of the most hideous until they came out with the z32 in 1989/90. the 280s used to rust out really bad.

Regals, yes. My dad has an 85 regal t-type. You have a point... I have trouble coming up with any... A lot of 80s cars were just crappy.

You have a very good point.
To me the Datsun Z's are rooted in the 1970's.
The 1980's had the early Vettes and then the redesign. I dont know but it seems all Vettes have some kind of group that keeps them going. I personally prefer the 1980 and 1981 models as that was one I almost bought.
The Grand National would be one as you say. Camaros and Firebirds werent so much in this decade. Are there any good TransAms ? I thought all the big block ones were gone by then. But maybe. Maybe the IROC Z cars too.
I also guess the "flash" cars of the 1980s. The Ferrairis of Magnum PI and the Miami Vice Ferrari Testarossa has to have a following. As does the DeLorean. I understand there is a supplier and warehouse of the DeLorean parts right here in Houston.
The NSX and the Viper came in the 1990's. Which here I like them both and I am currently considering the Viper as an addition, or even as a replacement for the 951.
And I guess some say that the Porsches in the 964's were really the best here and they go on to say the last of the real Porsches was in the 1990's.
The 1980's Porsches all seem to be as you say still in the mix. The 944's and 951's, the 928's, and the various 911's and 930's.
Maybe in retrospect the 1980s were the Porsche years.
