removed the rear wiper assembly and put in a wiper delete plug. Now the hatch pops open and lifts itself open with a turn of the key instead of having to lift on the rubber spoiler lip. I guess the weight of the wiper motor assembly makes a difference in the hatch opening itself. Need to get the hatch tinted next...

Installed the belts, and made sure TDC was set properly with both cam/crank as well as balance shafts. Gotta finish getting the oil pan ready to go back on.

Went out yesterday walked around the front a noticed that some nice person scuffed the front right corner. The valance is bent with black marks and what looks like plastic stuck to it and a small dent in the front edge of the wing or fender. If it was just the valance it needed work any way but the dent annoys me oh well that why there's insurance. No note or anything from the idiot and I can't even say for sure where it happened.

Still having fun with the die grinder. I did a little bit of touchup on the afm intake and outlet. Mainly removing the casting marks, port matching the inlet, and tapering and smoothing of the outlet. Just minor work, and It took me less than 2hrs to re and re. I removed enough material to fill a shot glass. Still on the hunt for an intake to play with.
