i always have trouble getting the coupler from the trans onto the tt. any tips?
it's always a game of spinning, tilting, taking bolts out, putting them in. then for no reason (so it seems) it finally lines up.

I believe we marked it during removal and then set it back on the mark on install. i levered the clutch from below using a screwdriver to engage it while my stepdad lined it back up and spun it to fit the bollts.

Never had one that didn't just slip right over. I do it before connecting CV's, so I can spin the rear shaft easily. Never understood marking the shafts; if it really mattered which way it went, they'd leave a blank tooth or some other way to make alignment foolproof. I don't know how you'd get to the TT shaft to mark it anyway.

Not today, on saturday:
I was taking off the wheels to check the brakes on the 944, I just got a week ago. The car had a locking nut on each wheel. The socket broke on the last nut.![crying](https://rennlist.com/forums/graemlins/bigcry.gif)
I spent over 3 hours grinding and chisleling out the stupid lock nut. No more lock nuts, just normal lognuts.
Cheers

^ damn....
I bought parts yesterday...i guess that counts! new valve springs, valve seals, and a new timing chain (muhuhaha!) This morning i believe i will order a new pilot bearing and adapter for the back of the motor so it can go back together and in when i get everything in!

put the blower assembly back minus the wiper assembly, which needs some work.
I also put in new front struts (low mileage s2 struts) so I can send my konis out to get rebuilt and valved properly for coilovers.
Replaced the AC/Alt tensioner finally (thanks Darwin
