...both your odometer AND fuel gauge are busted, but you'll still make an 800+ mile round-trip. And you only fill up once per leg. (Damn, that 21 gal tank is nice...)

If it is normal to spend 12 hours taking down the cross member and removing twenty some odd bolts to change the oil pan gasket. Then thinking what I need to do is get a Lindsey three piece cross member so it only takes three or four hours to get to the oil pan because that makes more sense.

If your odometer quit spinning due to a bum gear and your calculating in your head the miles put on so far as a fun math challenge vs. fixing it due to lack of funds.

If when you turn the heat on it goes full blast hot all the time due to factory default settings and you say well at least it is cooling down the motor.

If you set the cruise control and it continues to race off going faster and faster until you turn it off.

If your turn signal keeps going after you set it and made the turn because the plastic is so worn down that you need to use a piece of a bear can to get it back to the right thickness.

(By the ocean one)
If you buy a car and it has AC but to get better performance they by pass that belt and hey who needs it living by the beach. Problem is you don’t live by the beach because you spend so much fixing the car but you want that performance so you crack the sunroof 2 inches and go aahhh.

This was fun, talk about making me smile, keep it comming

Oh a few more:

If you think buying a fire extinguisher is a good add on to the car and should be a standard.

If the factory tool kit is not just in the car but is one that is used unlike the BMW and Ferrari ones.

- If you have spend more dollars than you've put miles on your car in the last year.
OR
- If your wife thinks that by you selling it she'll be able to afford that remodeled kitchen and thinks your lying when you tell her that a nice new stainless fridge is probably worth more than the car.

It's a sickness. I tried to sell mine once. My wife claims that I talked any interested 944 newbie buyers out of the car with stories of timing belts and ball joints.
