...cardboard isn't good enough, and you devise a network of jelly-roll pans full of oil-dri so your garage floor doesn't look like a toxic waste dump...

when you lock your keys in the car it is easier to grab a twig off a nearby bush and remove a window and reinstall it then picking up the phone to call AAA!
Happened yesterday, I was about to bust a window because I have a parts car rolling in but decdided to check the forums. Thanx to SoCal It only took me 2.5 minutes to get into my car and a $400 alarm was installed within 12 hours!

.....If you sneek onto Rennlist at work, when all you are supposed to be on is "work related sites."

Don't know if anyone has said it but for those who have the original steering wheel on an early NA:

...your work pants tend to get shiny and wear out about 1/2 way up the front of your leg

and another for the early '44s:

...everyone else's tacho's go the wrong way

have a Mercedes 240D as a backup car just in case the 944 should ever break down, so you could drive something while saving up for parts.

weld a piston and rod togather so you can keep it on your desk to hold your pens (and thereby never stray to far from the spirit of your 944)

You might own a 944 if...

you can't afford the $17.95 annual membership to Rennlist.

BRB, going to Off Topic and the Classifieds.

... you would consider spending as much modernizing the looks and operation of your car as it would be to just buy the damn 968.

BTW its a good thing the person in the next office isn't here today- this thread had me laughing out loud.

> You keep telling everyone who will listen how cheap the car was to buy.
+ You don't tell them that you re-pay the purchase price every 18 months in repairs.

> You've developed an algorithm for determining when the cost to fix one or more leaks exceeds the cost of motor oil refills + EPA fines.

....if you like "german body curves" and are convinced that the engine in those damn 911's is in the wrong place...
