Hi Everyone
This is a very informative thread. I own the number #6 car WP0AA0967HN165106
This car was one of two cars that raced in the 24hr of Mosport in 1987.
#60 Mine and #61.
My car now has 21k miles and is near perfect. Very few modifications were
done other then moving the ABS turn off switch to near the shifter. The original owner installed a radio. Which was later removed.
Cheers

Nice to see some pretty high bids on this low mile Turbo S street car, wonder if it will sell.

1986 944 turbo cup for sale
Hello
I have posted about my 1986 German 944 turbo CUP car earlier in this thread. I have decided to sell the car. It is one of 50 built in 1986 for the first cup season. The car was raced by Annette Meeuvissen for the VW Schultz - Essen team. I have spent a lot of time on the car to get it back to its original specs as it left the factory, with all the correct parts like Billstein suspension (rebuilt), aluminium Matter cage, original Recaro racing seat, 8J + 9J 16 inch fuchs wheels etc. This year the (matching numbers) engine was completely rebuild, including the turbo (less then 200km since rebuilt) and the car has been repainted.
I dont have the car listed anywhere yet, I would like to find an enthousiat buyer for it. For more information, please contact me.
The car featured in article in the magazine "911&porscheworld" issue nr250 (january 2015), together with a 1988 cup car.

Its still a work in progress, so pics will be updated as well. I want to repaint the fuchs wheels and the recaro seat is not the correct one yet. The cover of the 1986 seat is of to Southbound in England to embroid the porsche crest on the headrest.

Help needed from Turbo Cup owners
Hi.
I need help with my -89 Turbo Cup car.
I am restoring my car to stock and I am missing the brackets for the Recaro drivers seat. These brackets are unique to the -87 and later Cup cars (see pic)
My plan is to reproduce these and if anyone has these and would be willing to make a template for me I would be very grateful!
Ofcourse if anyone has an extra set of the brackets and wish to sell i will buy them.
I think if one just had the bracket of the seat it would be pretty straightforward to draw it's outer contour and hole pattern on a piece of paper. Also to mark were the bends are would be helpful. I have steel Recaro brackets and the bends seam to be very similar.
If someone would be so helpful I would be very very happy!
Kind regards
Peder

If the paint isnt badly damaged just use some autosol on the Fuchs black centers and you will buff them up really nice. The black gets very matt after all those years but is easily refurbished. I have done this on several wheels thoughout the years and it has always worked wonders.
Good luck with the sale!
