My car has one on the driver side only. I'm not sure if it is original or even if the TC cars came equipped with full inside fender liners; a previous owner could have installed it on my car. I found the same part on a normal early US production 944 at a wrecking yard and bought it. I could dig it out if you need a part number.

As far as I know, the Cups had partial fender liners, not the full tubs. But not positive I know what the original parts look like, as my car has had front end damage and the partial liners appear to be regular tubs that were cut.
Below is the only pic I have that might show an original Cup liner, from car #103.

Hi.
From what I have seen on my -89 euro Cup and other late (ABS) Cup cars here in Sweden they had a cut liner on the passenger side to protect the ABS unit together with a steel plate down under the liner. On the drivers side they have the same liner as in the video posted but no other liner exept for the same type of steel plate as on the passenger side.

Hi Everyone
This is a very informative thread. I own the number #6 car WP0AA0967HN165106
This car was one of two cars that raced in the 24hr of Mosport in 1987.
#60 Mine and #61. I have attached some pictures of the event as well
as a original owners list. These car were shipped to the US and delayed
as they didn't have the proper emissions stickers etc. Once the US car
were removed from customs, some how the proper stickers appeared on the two CDN cars.
Guessing someone at PMNA helped out Porsche St Catherines. These cars were run at the 24 hr race
as test cars for the next seasons Rothmans Turbo Cup. My car was driven by Rick Bye
Cam Champion and Deacon. The 61# was run by Scott Goodyear, Spienard
and I forget the third driver.
My car now has 21k miles and is near perfect. Very few modifications were
done other then moving the ABS turn off switch to near the shifter. The original owner installed a radio. Which was later removed.
Cheers
