#165107 in this video @ 1:55. This car and my 964 USA Cup car used to be in a same collection. Looks like the previous owner sold the 944 at some point. Actually my car was the last one featured in the video. The last video is also of #165107 and is one of the more comprehensive videos on these cars.

Not sure why it’s labeled “not legal for road use and does not have a title.”

I bought #09 new from Porsche Motorsport North America in July 1987, drove it home to Ohio, titled it, and drove it on the street for 29 years with no issues. (Sold it to “The White Collection,” who recently sold all their cars.)

 

@centerpunch heard Jerry Seinfeld bought your former Turbo Cup from the white collection. Mentions it on Spikes Car Radio this week at 14:30. Owns more than one of these Turbo Cup’s including the unraced Rothman’s series car that sold at the Porsche 75th Anniversary Broad Arrow Auction last year.

Couple pics of Becker's #4: at a Road America DE about 30 years ago, I recall it had a J. Milledge engine in it at the time. And on the cover of an SCCA SportsCar mag from 1987.

 

Very interesting airbox setup on that engine! Probably a bit more powerful than stock🙂
