Bill, Probably covered in this thread but, is that a brand new MFI or rebuilt? What's your prediction for 1st drive?

The MFI system has been completely rebuilt and modified to S/RS specs. I hope I am driving by March - need to see how the interior goes and then the dial in/brake in since I will be relying on others for those things. Wish me luck!

Merry Christmas to you and your family. And well done!
What is your estimate of the weight of what is shown in the picture please? The reason that I am asking is because in a few weeks I will need to fly a “volunteer” into Detroit and rent a mini van/SUV load the ^similar^ combo and drive back 1500 miles.

I haven't weighed anything personally but I have read different estimates. Should weigh in the range of 520 to 550 lbs. Sounds like a fun trip!

Motor and gearbox are back home. Went fairly smoothly - just took my time. Great feeling once you get the gearbox shaft to clear. From there it is just bringing the whole thing up to where it needs to be. Used a couple floor jacks and a lot of 4x4 cut pieces of wood.
Gearbox angled up to clear the shaft - great feeling once the tip of the shaft is cleared in the tunnel hole (this may need to be sensored soon lol).
After the rod is in the hole, it is pretty easy. I continued to use 2 floor jacks to raise the drivetrain up to mount the 4 bolts that suspend everything - hard to believe 4 bolts hold all this stuff up!
A lot of crap to reconnect but this is a great feeling to be at this point. I enjoyed a nice double IPA after this

As usual, more awesome picture ****. Now with some added verbiage like: "tip of the shaft is cleared in the tunnel hole"
