@jlee504 Mine still shows at port. There is a very real chance we’re on the Wolfsburg, imo. Plenty of people have reported tyd status update lag after production.
If the Aristotle leaves and my status still doesn’t update, I’m going to lean towards having been loaded on the Wolfsburg (already approaching the US).
Positive waves, Moriarty. 😎

Siem Aristotle now underway. TYD still says "Arrived at German Port"
I am taking this to mean status' are lagging and I (we) are on the Wolfsburg! Woot
Optimism: Maximum effort!

Have you made any inquires beyond the dealer level, specifically to PCNA to see why or what's up with purchasing an extended warranty on the Spyder RS?

I don’t know what’s offered on Spyder RS, but there is no “extension” of factory warranty per se. It doesn’t exist here in the US. Here in the US there is a service contract that is sold while the car is under warranty and a service contract that is sold while a car is not under warranty. Each can offer coverage that is almost as good as factory warranty but it’s not quite as good. The coverage purchased while the car remains under warranty is slightly superior to the coverage available when the car is out of warranty.
I bought Porsche-branded 7 years of coverage (Platinum) for my 981 Spyder when the car was 7.5 years out from its original in-service date at a $250 deductible; I bought the same for my 991.2 when it was 6 years out from its in-service date.
Note: Certified Pre-Owned is a different program offered by Porsche with different coverage. It cannot be obtained unless the car is bought at retail as a Certified vehicle. It adds two years of coverage to the end of the factory warranty or two years from the date of retail purchase, whichever extends out longer.

But once either is in place aren't their coverages essentially the same? Both take extended warranty coverage past the base 4 years.

There are differences in the programs.
As far as I’m aware you can’t purchase a CPO warranty outside of a pre owned car sale transaction. Some report dealers doing low cost flow through to facilitate.
Anyway, just a data point. I usually decline all that stuff.
It’s possible the Finance Manager was ill informed…but it appeared as simple as putting my VIN in VMI. He tried several times

Shaggy, good points, I was thinking that they were so close as to be the same programs reached via different paths. I do know that my extended warranty doesn't cover all that the original new car warranty does.

I asked the FB SRS group and got one semi-useful response. "I was offered an extended warranty." Which might have been done without looking to see if there was actually one to offer. The lack of intel on this is so bizarre.
I called a second dealer, and got an indeterminate response. The SA said he would text me if he found out you COULDN'T get an extended warranty. I never got a text, but he also might have just forgotten / lost interest.

Welcome to my SRS!! getting delivery this week, PPF on next week and then I will share my thoughts compared to his garage partner a 992 manual GT3, and my previous 718 Spyder.
