First-world frustrations.
My GT4rs was originally supposed to be delivered this week started production 4/24 still not finished waiting on a part or chip delivery is now scheduled from August - November.... Just frustrating

Doubt it. I think the reason is that I simply missed the ship that was bound for my nearest port by a day or two and the next one was 3-4 weeks behind it. Given that every milestone in TYD probably has a couple of weeks of buffer built into it, my final delivery estimate ballooned by months just from missing a boat by a couple of days.

Pick up Saturday, so moving over to Owner Driving Impression thread and exiting the waiting room.

All TYD dates were spot on — no delays.

More to follow.

Thanks to @Adrift for the pre-pickup pics.

More than just those boats are used. You'll need to find out what boat you are on once it ships. Mine wasn't on a PWL boat.

Thanks for posting. Man I better make the Wolfsburg. Though the car just completed yesterday. What do you think the odds are to make it to Emden in 3 days?

Thank god I finally got the notice last night that my Spyder RS has been completed! Was in production for two full months.

This AM, Porsche sent me the notice regarding final details for European delivery. Will be a long 10 week wait until ED, but at least my car is done and I can start booking my trip!

Three days should be plenty of time. "should be"

Next day is common, I have found.

Mojonito and I will scoot over.

Lake Wanaka is also a contract ship.. goes to Halifax, Baltimore, and Houston. It's arriving in Houston in 5-6 days.

It left Emden a couple of weeks ago then, yes? Unless it’s the new hydrofoil RORO
